Monitor Rafael

Born in Cubatão, 26/11/81, he began capoeira at the age of nine and trained with various capoeira teachers who ran local groups.

In 1993, he began training under the Capoeira Convivençia Association under Mestre Valdir Da Silva and graduated with his first belt. He began teaching in Rio Branco in 1999, and within just one year membership increased from five to forty two students.

At 5.00 pm on 15/12/2001, he finally graduated as a formado ‘with much pride’ under Mestre Valdir Da Silva, and this led to the official opening of Associação de Capoeira Conviver Rio Branco, in 2001, and has since participated in numerous events and championships. Just a few are listed below:
